Children
As a ministry to both our kids and our parents we offer children’s church for children age 3 through 5th grade during the second half of the worship service. Our desire is that this would be a time of fellowship and learning through games, prayer, worship, Bible teaching, and snacks. Our teachers share God’s Word with the children with an emphasis on God’s character, gospel, and ongoing work of grace in our hearts and lives. Our current curriculum is The Biggest Story which creatively walks through the whole bible so that our children have a strong scripture based foundation.
Our church recognizes that parents are entrusted with the primary responsibility of training their children in God’s Word. Therefore, our children’s programs exist to come alongside of parents, but never to replace them as the primary spiritual influence on their children. While we offer children’s church, parents are always welcome to keep their children in the service.
Our children’s church leaders all receive a full background check and training to enable them to provide the best teaching and care possible for your kids.
We offer two children’s Sunday school classes for: 3 year olds – 2nd graders, and 3rd – 5th graders. It is our hope that this time will be a time of forming encouraging relationships with other children as well as with caring, godly adults while learning from God’s Word together. We teach the New City Catechism which walks our children through the basics of the faith. Together with our children's church curriculum, the children receive a balanced diet of Scripture and Theology.
Our Sunday school class leaders all receive a full background check and training to enable them to provide the best teaching and care possible for your kids.
We provide nursery during the worship service for infants through age 2. Our nursery is designed to be a clean and safe environment for children. All of our nursery workers undergo a full background check, and are trained to provide the best care possible for your children.
We see our nursery as more than just a service we provide for parents. It is also a ministry, in which we seek to show the nurture and love of Christ to the youngest members of our family.
